Both my daughters loved the story! The little one wants a a Harvey Bear plushy to hug while she sleeps, and my oldest said she feels inspired by you. Cecia

 Dear Harvey Bear,
My favorite part of the story is when the shelter gave Harvey Bear a warm cozy bed to share with his little boy. I also liked the very end when Harvey Bear looked out the window and knew things were going to get better! Thank you for sharing a wonderful story to the world!

 Fan mail of the day...Mom writes, "I peeked in on my son and this is what was happening....He was reading Harvey Bear (in Spanish) to his stuffed animals!"

Mensaje de una madre recibida hoy, "Al asomarme en lo que hacia mi hijo, esto fue lo que encontré…les estaba leyendo el cuento de Harvey a sus peluches.” 

 This fan mail touched my heart last night...I had happened to be at Barnes & Noble checking on Harvey Bear and after meeting them, I ended up reading the story for them...a personal author read.

My daughter absolutely loves your book! She wants to read it everyday and loves looking at the pictures and asks a lot of questions. She loves Harvey bear and keeps asking me who wrote this book. I reminded her how we met you at Barnes and nobles and you read her the story and autographed the book for her . She said she wants to be a teacher and a writer too like you!

This Harvey Bear Fan Mail of the Day just melted my heart...Big brother is reading Harvey Bear to his baby sister! Isn't that the sweetest thing ever! I also happened to notice the page he was on...mid storm...just like now.... 

 I LOVE getting fan mail. This one had photos of the sweetest little girl coloring in the copy of "Harvey Bear Braves IckyBooCachoo" her Gma bought, packed up snug in a suitcase, and flew on an airplane straight to her!

Gma was so excited to take her this book and I was so thrilled she captured her grandbaby coloring in it.

"IckyBooCachoo" became a word that tickled this particular little heart just so but also according to Gma saying "IckyBooCachoo" over and over reminded her to be safe and cautious with things like not touching overtly germy surfaces.

I LOVED hearing that the word had stuck but even more, I loved that IckybooCachoo's message of HOPE and HEALING was so well received by a young fan. It became her new bedtime story while Gma visited!

My heart just melted when I saw these lovely photos and was so thrilled to have permission to share them with you. I love the joy she expresses while she is coloring Harvey Bear and his little boy.
